Who's Behind 'Does
The HRC Still Suck?'
Site?

I am honored that a new web site called "Does The HRC Still Suck?" links to this my blog, but I have no idea who has created the minimalist site. This is the site's entire content:

DOES THE HUMAN RIGHTS CAMPAIGN
STILL SUCK?

2009 ANNUAL REPORT

  • STILL DOING FUCK ALL TO ADVANCE THE RIGHTS OF GAY PEOPLE.

YES, THE HRC STILL SUCKS.
IT'S TIME TO SEND YOUR MONEY TO A GROUP THAT DOESN'T WASTE IT.

Nice to see creative gay accountability growing a wee bit on the web. I salute this anonymous effort, and say thanks to the creators for prominently featuring my HRC accountability work.

However, I would recommend that instead of, or in addition, to making a contributing to an org that doesn't squander donations, send your money to this blog and support my advocacy.

All donations are happily accepted, and I give many thanks to the individuals who responded to my recent fundraising drive. And when you donate to me, you don't receive endless requests to purchase useless crap.

With ENDA dead in the water for another year, and no moves by the President or Congress to repeal DOMA and lift the DADT ban, and HRC having so few achievements to brag about, it's clear to me HRC still sucks and its leaders plan to keep collecting big paychecks for a long time to come.

LGBT Resources to HRC:

2000 $21.04 million
2001 $21.36 million
2002 $28.98 million
2003 $29.62 million
2004 $34.17 million
2005 $35.87 million
2006 $39.03 million
2007 $42.00 million
2008 $43.95 million
2009 $45.79 million
====================
10Y $341.81 million

In the previous 18 years HRC received another $172 million.

In 28 years HRC has received $513 million. A half a billion dollars to HRC.

What, besides those "cruising stickers" for our cars, do we have to show for it? What exactly has HRC accomplished?

Sooner or later we need to be honest about the lack of results from HRC and the rest of Gay Inc. We are being "played." We have wasted $500 million and nearly 30 years. Enough.

We need a strategy to win our equality. HRC does not have one - in fact, they have NO incentive to win. The only strategies they have are to raise money and fund their salaries.
